Hello again!
Feeling creative? If you follow Los Angeles' Getty Museum (instagram.com/gettymuseum), you've likely seen their challenge to recreate a work of art in your home using common household items. It's an easy, accessible, and fun way to take in some fine art while you're stuck at home. People all across the world are submitting their interpretations of fine works of art. Check it out:

Isn't that so cool? The creativity behind these recreations is amazing. I would love to see some AASP students get involved! If your kids are interested, here's how to take on the #BetweenArtandQuarantine challenge:
- Find the artwork you'd like to imitate (browse the Getty Museum's collection at getty.edu/art/collection)
- Find 3 things lying around your house
- Recreate the artwork with those items
- Share your recreated work of art with the Getty Museum and AASP (to share with your AASP site, email us)
I'm so excited to see what you'll come up with. Thanks to Ms. Jordyn for telling us about this awesome challenge.
Ready, set, recreate!
Ms. Rachel
